PomoMin - Pomodoro Timer for Garmin Watches

During Christmas 2023, I developed an app for using the Pomodoro technique on Garmin Watches. The app is available at the Connect IQ Store.

I came up with this idea because none of the apps I saw in the Garmin store let you use the timer in the background. You had to keep the app open for the timer and alarms to work.

I thought it might be useful to create an app that would let you keep timers running even when you exit the app, and that would send you notifications every time the timer ends.

I downloaded the Garmin SDK and got to work. The documentation is pretty comprehensive and there are lots of official examples, but the lack of third-party examples and tutorials made development a bit tricky at first. Even so, within a week or so I had a basic version of the app. It's been really well received, with almost 2000 downloads, so over the last year I've been making improvements and adding some of the most requested features.

It's been quite a few months since I last improved it, so it's about time I got cracking...
